Washing machine repair
Updated 2026-10-10
A machine that will not drain, leaks from the door, or does not spin. In D-Bell you book a technician to diagnose and repair it, and get quotes before you choose.
How much does washing machine repair cost?
Washing machine repair usually costs ILS 240 to 370. Replacing a pump costs ILS 300 to 480, a door seal ILS 280 to 490, and a belt ILS 280 to 490. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
Common faults
- Will not drain: usually a blocked filter or a stuck pump.
- Leaking from the door: a torn or dirty seal.
- The drum does not turn but the motor runs: often a snapped belt.
- Loud noise on spin: a machine that is not level, or worn bearings.
What can I check myself?
Clean the filter at the bottom of the machine, with a towel and a bowl since water will come out. Check the hose is not kinked and the tap is open. If that does not help, photograph the error code on the display and send it in the request.
Photograph the label with the model and serial number, usually inside the door or on the back, and send it in the request. That way the professional knows which part to bring.
How is it done properly?
- Unplug the machine and shut off the water before opening it.
- Check the filter, the drain hose, and the pump first.
- Protect the floor from the water left in the machine.
- Fit a part that matches the model, such as a pump, a door seal, or a belt.
- Run a short program and check filling, draining, and spinning.
