A handyman by the hour usually costs ILS 160 to 280. Furniture assembly costs ILS 150 to 310 per hour, installing a shelf ILS 150 to 280, and a curtain rod ILS 130 to 220. Installing a range hood costs ILS 180 to 490, and a clothesline ILS 140 to 270. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges; materials are usually extra.

Why does the wall type matter?

A concrete or block wall needs a strong drill and regular anchors. A drywall wall needs drywall anchors, or fixing to the metal stud inside, and there is a limit to the weight it can hold. If you are not sure, knock on the wall: drywall sounds hollow. Write it in the request so the handyman arrives with the right equipment.
