- Gardening price list 2026
How much does a gardener cost?
Gardening by the hour usually costs ILS 150 to 270. Lawn mowing costs ILS 4 to 9 per square meter, hedge trimming ILS 200 to 380 per hour, garden cleanup ILS 180 to 340 per hour, and basic planting ILS 170 to 300 per hour. Tree pruning costs ILS 550 to 1080, and wiring an irrigation controller ILS 320 to 690. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
The final price depends on the size and state of the area: a lawn left for two months takes longer than a weekly mow. Photograph the garden from several sides, and write whether there is a slope, a narrow gate, or steps, and whether there is an outdoor tap and outlet. Green waste removal is priced separately, so say whether it should be included. Anything extra found mid-job comes to you in the app to approve.
How often should a lawn be mowed?
In summer grass grows fast, and a home lawn is usually mowed every week or two. In winter growth slows, and once a month is often enough. Regular mowing, not too short, keeps the lawn dense and green and leaves less room for weeds.
When are hedges and trees pruned?
Most hedges are trimmed several times in the growing season, in spring and summer, to keep them dense. Deciduous trees are usually pruned at the end of winter, before new growth. Felling or moving a mature tree requires a license from the forest officer. Regular pruning of branches needs no license, as long as it does not damage the trunk or endanger the tree. The tree pruning page has the details.
What does a garden cleanup include?
Weeding, cutting back dry plants, collecting leaves and clippings, and tidying beds and paths. It suits the end of winter, before an event in the garden, before renting out or selling a house, or when the garden was neglected. Say whether the green waste should also be taken away.
How do I book a gardener on D-Bell?
- Open a request in the app and write what you need: mowing, pruning, cleanup, or planting, and roughly how big the area is.
- Add photos of the garden from several sides. It is optional, but it helps you get an accurate price.
- Pick a saved address and a time, or mark it urgent for today.
- Get quotes from verified gardeners, compare, and choose.
- Follow the professional on the map on the way, and approve the work when it is done.
How are gardeners on D-Bell checked?
Every professional is reviewed and approved by the team before they can quote or take a job. After each job the customer and the professional rate each other, and the ratings stay in the app.
