How much does a gardener cost?
General garden work usually costs ILS 150 to 270 per hour. Lawn mowing is priced by area, ILS 4 to 9 per square meter. Hedge trimming costs ILS 200 to 380 per hour, and garden cleanup ILS 180 to 340 per hour.
Tree pruning costs ILS 550 to 1080, and wiring an irrigation controller ILS 320 to 690. These are average ranges, not a final price. The full table is below.
What affects the price?
- Garden size and condition. A neglected garden takes longer than one that is looked after regularly.
- Green waste removal. Ask in the quote whether removal is included or priced separately.
- Access. Tall trees or a garden without easy entry raise the price.
- Plants and materials. Seedlings, soil, fertilizer and drip lines are usually separate from the labor.
Regular care or a one-off job?
Regular care, for example every two weeks, keeps the garden tidy and is usually cheaper per visit, because work does not pile up. A one-off job suits a cleanup before a holiday, before a sale or after winter. Say in the request what you need, and you get a matching quote.
