Tree removal
Updated 2026-10-10
A dead tree, a tree whose roots lift the paving, or one leaning dangerously toward the house. In D-Bell you book a professional to remove it, and get quotes before you choose.
How much does tree removal cost?
Removing a tree usually costs ILS 800 to 2500, depending on height, trunk thickness, and access. If pruning is enough, tree pruning costs ILS 550 to 1080. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
Is a license needed?
Under the Forest Ordinance, felling or moving a mature tree requires a license from the forest officer. Olive and carob trees are protected too. The property owner applies, usually through the local authority, and work starts only once there is a license. When a tree is an immediate danger to life or property, contact the local authority.
What does the job include?
- Cutting in sections from the top down, when there is no room to fell it in one piece.
- Cutting the trunk close to the ground.
- Removing branches and trunk, if you ask.
- Grinding the stump, if you need the space for planting or paving.
Photograph the garden, send the photos in the request, and give its rough size in square meters. That way the gardener can quote without visiting first.
How it works
