How much does planting cost?
Garden planting usually costs ILS 170 to 300, not including the plants. The price depends on the number and size of plants. This is an average D-Bell catalog range.
When should I plant?
Autumn is usually a good time to plant, since plants settle in with the rains before summer. Seasonal plants can go in in spring. In hot summer, young plants need close watering.
What should I choose?
Water-saving plants suit the hot climate and need less upkeep. Tell the gardener how much sun the garden or balcony gets, and they suggest suitable plants.
Photograph the garden, send the photos in the request, and give its rough size in square meters. That way the gardener can quote without visiting first.
How is it done properly?
- Choose plants by sun, shade, and the room they have to grow.
- Prepare the soil: add compost and loosen the roots.
- Plant at the same depth the plant sat in its pot, not deeper.
- Water right after planting and mulch the soil to keep it moist.
- Explain how much to water in the first weeks.
