How much does removal and reinstallation cost?
Removing a split AC and reinstalling it usually costs ILS 900 to 1800. If gas was lost or the copper line is longer, a gas refill may be needed too, ILS 490 to 980. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
What does the job include?
- Pumping the gas down into the compressor before removal, so it is not lost.
- Removing the indoor unit and the compressor.
- Installing at the new apartment, including piping and drain as needed.
- A leak test and start-up.
What should the request say?
Give both addresses, which floor the compressor will go on, and whether scaffolding or rope access is needed. Photograph the model sticker on the indoor unit and on the outdoor compressor, and send it in the request. That way the technician knows which part to bring.
