Painter for your apartment
Updated 2026-10-10
Painting an apartment before moving in, a kids’ room in a new color, or touch-ups after moving furniture. In D-Bell you write how many rooms need painting, photograph the walls, and get quotes from painters verified by the team. You see the amount before you choose, and your card is charged only after the work is done and approved.

How much does painting an apartment cost?
Painting by the hour usually costs ILS 150 to 260. Painting a standard room costs ILS 740 to 1520, and interior walls ILS 42 to 85 per square meter. Painting an interior door costs ILS 240 to 500, and touch-ups ILS 150 to 260 per hour. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges; the paint itself is usually extra.
For a whole apartment the price follows the number of rooms or the area. Write how many rooms, the ceiling height, whether ceilings are included, and whether two coats are needed. Going from a dark color to a light one usually takes an extra coat. Anything extra found mid-job, such as bigger cracks than expected, comes to you in the app to approve or decline.
What does painting a room include?
A room in the catalog means walls in reasonable condition: covering the floor and outlets, painting, and cleaning up. Filling small holes and cracks falls under touch-up hours. Major plastering, wallpaper removal, or treating damp and mold are separate work. If the walls are in poor shape, photograph them up close to get the right quote.
Which paint should I choose?
Interior walls usually get water-based acrylic paint: it dries fast, has little smell, and can be cleaned. Kitchens and bathrooms need a moisture-resistant, washable paint, and a room with mold needs anti-mold paint after the source of the damp is fixed. A matte finish hides wall defects, and a silk finish is easier to clean.
How do I prepare for painting?
- Move furniture to the middle of the room or out of it. It shortens the visit.
- Take down pictures, shelves, and curtains.
- Decide on colors in advance. If you already have the paint, say so in the request.
- Air the home during and after painting.
How do I book a painter on D-Bell?
- Open a request in the app and write what is being painted: how many rooms, ceilings, doors, and which color.
- Add photos of the walls, especially cracks, stains, or mold. It is optional, but it helps you get an accurate price.
- Pick a saved address and a time, or mark it urgent for today.
- Get quotes from verified painters, compare, and choose.
- Follow the professional on the map on the way, and approve the work when it is done.
How are painters on D-Bell checked?
Every professional is reviewed and approved by the team before they can quote or take a job. After each job the customer and the professional rate each other, and the ratings stay in the app.
