How much does kids room painting cost?
Painting a kids room usually costs ILS 800 to 1800, including one or two feature walls. Painting a regular room in one color costs ILS 740 to 1520. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
Which paint should I choose?
- A washable paint you can wipe stains and markers off.
- A low-odor water-based paint.
- A satin or eggshell finish that is easy to clean.
- One wall in a bold color, and the rest in a calm shade.
When can the room be used again?
Air the room for a day or two before a baby sleeps in it. Painting before the birth or during a holiday saves stress. Photograph the walls or ceiling, send the photos in the request, and give the rough size in square meters. That way the painter can quote without visiting first.
How is it done properly?
- Choose a water-based, low-odor, washable paint.
- Move out or cover the furniture and toys.
- Clean drawings and stains and cover them with primer where needed.
- Apply two coats for an even shade.
- Ventilate and tell you when the child can sleep in the room again.
