Microtopping coating
Microtopping is a thin concrete-look coating applied over tiles, walls, or floors without breaking anything. In D-Bell you book a specialist in this coating, and you get quotes before you choose.
How much does microtopping cost?
Microtopping usually costs ILS 250 to 450. This is an average D-Bell catalog range, and the price depends on the surface condition.
What does the job include?
- Cleaning the surface and a bonding primer.
- A reinforcing mesh over existing tiles.
- Two coats of topping and a protective sealer.
What should I write in the request?
Photograph the area, send the photos in the request, and give the rough size in square meters. That way the painter can quote without visiting first.
How is it done properly?
- Check the surface is sound, dry, and clean.
- Fill joints and cracks and apply a bonding coat.
- Apply two or three thin coats and sand between them.
- Seal with a hard-wearing varnish, especially on floors and in showers.
- Explain how long not to walk on it or get it wet.
