Paint touch-ups and cracks
Updated 2026-10-10
Nail holes after taking down pictures, a hairline crack in the wall, or a stain that will not come off. In D-Bell you book a painter for spot repairs, and get quotes before you choose.
How much do paint touch-ups cost?
Paint touch-ups usually cost ILS 150 to 260. When there are several small repairs at home, you can book by the hour, ILS 150 to 260 per hour. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
When is a touch-up enough?
When the problem is local: a few holes, a hairline crack, or a stain. If the wall paint is very old, a spot repair can look brighter than the rest, and then repainting the whole wall is sometimes better. Keep the paint name and shade number if known.
A crack that keeps coming back
A hairline crack in plaster is usually cosmetic. A wide crack, one that is widening, or one with damp needs checking before it is covered. Mention it in the request and attach a photo.
How is it done properly?
- Clean the spot and open the crack so the filler goes in deep.
- Fill with the right product: filler for holes, a flexible one for a moving crack.
- Sand until the repair is flush with the wall.
- Paint in the original shade, sometimes the whole wall so no patch shows.
- Cover furniture and floors, and clean up at the end.
