How much does spray painting cost?
The price is set by area, not by method. Exterior painting usually costs ILS 60 to 140, interior walls ILS 42 to 85, and ceilings ILS 15 to 35. Hourly work costs ILS 150 to 260 per hour. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
When does spraying suit the job?
- Exterior walls with a textured or rough render that a roller does not cover well.
- Large areas, such as the outside of a private house, a garage or a storeroom.
- High ceilings and open spaces.
- Fences, bars and railings.
How is it different from a roller?
A spray machine lays a thin, even coat quickly and reaches the grooves a roller misses. On the other hand, it needs thorough covering of everything that is not being painted, because the paint mist spreads. In a furnished room or a small area, a roller is usually simpler and faster.
How to prepare
Clear the room or the area by the wall as much as you can. The painter covers windows, floors and furniture with plastic and tape. For exterior work, move cars and plant pots away from the wall, because the wind can carry the paint.
