Termite treatment
Updated 2026-10-10
A crumbling door frame, parquet that sounds hollow, or thin mud trails on the wall. Termites damage wood from the inside, and in D-Bell you book a licensed exterminator to inspect and treat, and get a quote before you choose.
How much does termite treatment cost?
Termite treatment usually costs ILS 1290 to 1890. The price depends on how widespread the infestation is and the area to treat. This is an average D-Bell catalog range, and repairing damaged wood is a separate job.
How do I recognize termites?
- Wood that sounds hollow when tapped, or crumbles to the touch.
- Thin mud trails on walls, especially near the floor.
- Small clear wings near windows after a termite swarm.
- A door or frame that warped and sticks.
What does the treatment include?
The exterminator assesses the extent, treats the damaged wood and the soil or walls the termites come through, and recommends a follow-up check. Afterwards you can book a carpenter or handyman to replace the damaged wood.
Who may do pest control?
Pest control at home is done by an exterminator holding a permit from the Ministry of Environmental Protection, using products approved for homes. Ask which products are used and when it is safe to go back into the room.
