How is a sofa cleaned at home?
Fabric sofas are usually cleaned by wet extraction: vacuuming, pre-treating stains, spraying a cleaner suited to the fabric, and extracting it with the dirt using a dedicated machine. The fabric stays damp, not soaked, and dries within a few hours. Leather is not washed this way: it is cleaned with a leather product and conditioned. Say in the request if the sofa is leather.
