Wall hole patching
Updated 2026-10-10
You took down shelves, a TV, or pictures, and anchor holes were left. Before leaving a rental, it is also about the deposit. In D-Bell you book a handyman to patch them, and get quotes before you choose.
How much does patching wall holes cost?
Patching wall holes usually costs ILS 150 to 350. If the area needs painting too, paint touch-ups cost ILS 150 to 260 per hour. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
How is it patched properly?
- The old anchor is pulled out, not pushed in.
- The hole is filled with filler, in several layers if it is deep.
- It is sanded until flush with the wall.
- It is painted, so the repair does not show.
In drywall
In drywall, a big hole is not patched with filler alone. A mesh or drywall patch goes on first, then filler. Say in the request what the wall is made of and how many holes there are. Photograph what needs fixing and send it in the request. That way the handyman knows what to bring and can quote without visiting first.
