Signs of a board fault
- The AC does not switch on at all, though the outlet has power.
- A light blinks in a steady pattern, or an error code shows.
- The AC shuts itself off after a few minutes.
- After a power cut or surge it never came back on.
Before booking
Change the remote batteries and try the button on the unit. Say in the request what the code is or how many times the light blinks. Photograph the model sticker on the indoor unit and on the outdoor compressor, and send it in the request. That way the technician knows which part to bring.
