How much does range hood installation cost?

Ducted or recirculating?
A ducted hood sends fumes out through a pipe to the wall or window, and extracts better. A recirculating hood returns air to the kitchen through a charcoal filter, and suits a kitchen with no outlet. Say in the request what you have today.
What should I check first?

How is it done properly?

- Detect pipes and wiring before drilling, and fix it with suitable anchors.
- Connect a duct as short and straight as possible, or carbon filters on a recirculating hood.
- Seal the duct opening in the wall.
- Check every speed, the light, and that the hood is level.
