How much does grout renewal cost?
Grout renewal and mold treatment usually cost ILS 350 to 900. The price depends on the area and whether the old grout is raked out or just cleaned. Replacing silicone in the corners costs ILS 220 to 450. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
How is it treated?
- The mold is cleaned with a suitable product.
- Where grout is cracked or black deep down, it is raked out with a special tool.
- New grout is filled in, sometimes a tougher epoxy grout.
- Silicone is replaced in corners and at the bath joint.
How is it prevented?
Mold loves moisture. A bathroom fan, an open window after showering, and wiping water off the walls slow its return. Photograph what needs fixing and send it in the request. That way the handyman knows what to bring and can quote without visiting first.
