Irrigation installation and repair
Updated 2026-10-10
Blocked drippers, a leaking line, or an irrigation controller that will not switch on. In D-Bell you book a gardener to install and repair irrigation, and get quotes before you choose.
How much does irrigation work cost?
Installing or repairing an irrigation system usually costs ILS 320 to 690. The price depends on the garden size and the number of lines. This is an average D-Bell catalog range.
Common faults
- Drippers blocked with limescale, and plants drying out at the end of the line.
- A line that was cut or cracked and leaves a puddle.
- A controller with a dead battery or one that does not open the valve.
- A sprinkler watering the wall or the sidewalk.
How much should I water?
In summer, water early in the morning or in the evening so the water does not evaporate. In winter the rain does part of the work, and irrigation can be reduced or switched off. The gardener can set the controller by season.
Photograph the garden, send the photos in the request, and give its rough size in square meters. That way the gardener can quote without visiting first.
How is it done properly?
- Check the tap’s pressure and flow before planning.
- Split the system into lines by plant type, lawn apart from trees and shrubs.
- Install a filter and a pressure reducer before the drippers.
- Flush the lines before capping the ends.
- Set the controller to early morning and test every line.
