Planting in pots and planters
Empty planters, or pots with plants that dried out. In D-Bell you book a gardener who picks suitable plants and plants them with proper drainage, and you get quotes before you choose.
How much does pot planting cost?
Planting pots and planters usually costs ILS 400 to 850, plants not included. Garden planting costs ILS 170 to 300 per hour. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
What does the job include?
- A drainage layer and quality potting soil.
- Plants matched to sun or shade.
- A dripper for each pot if there is irrigation.
What should I write in the request?
Photograph the garden or balcony, send the photos in the request, and give the rough size. That way the gardener can quote without visiting first.
How is it done properly?
- Check the planter has drainage holes.
- Add a drainage layer and landscape fabric at the bottom.
- Fill with quality potting mix, not garden soil.
- Plant with spacing that lets the plants grow.
- Water straight away and explain how much to water.
How it works

Photograph the garden
Overgrown grass, bushes to prune, or irrigation that is not working? Photograph the garden from a few sides, say what you need, and pick a time.
