Home alarm system
Updated 2026-10-10
An alarm that alerts when a door or window opens, or an old system that beeps for no reason. In D-Bell you book a technician to install or repair the system, and you get a quote before you choose.
How much does an alarm system cost?
Installing an alarm system usually costs ILS 2200 to 4000, and repairing an existing one ILS 250 to 500. A technician inspection visit costs ILS 230 to 380. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges, and the price depends on the number of detectors and sensors.
What does a basic system include?
A control panel, a keypad by the door, motion detectors in the rooms, magnetic contacts on the door and windows, and a siren. Phone control can be added, so you can arm and disarm remotely and get alerts.
Why does an old system beep?
- A weak backup battery in the panel or in a wireless detector.
- A detector that moved, got dirty, or picks up a pet.
- A loose magnetic contact on a door or window.
- A power cut or a fault in the communication line.
How is it done properly?
- Walk through the home with you and decide where the sensors and keypad go.
- Place motion sensors so an AC or a window does not set them off, and choose pet-friendly sensors where there are pets.
- Set up codes, zones, and phone alerts.
- On an existing system, replace the backup battery and the sensor batteries.
- Test every sensor and the siren before finishing.
