A weak shower or hot water that barely arrives. In D-Bell you say where pressure is low and get quotes from verified plumbers.
How much does it cost?
Boosting pressure, for example with a bypass around a blocked pipe or a small pump, usually costs ILS 540 to 1150. A diagnostic visit costs ILS 240 to 370.
Why is pressure low?
Check for scale in aerators and the shower head first. Other causes are a clogged inlet strainer, old corroded pipes, a hidden leak, or a high floor that needs a pump.
How is it done properly?
- First check whether pressure is low in the whole home or at one point only.
- Clean filters, shower heads, and aerators blocked with limescale.
- Check the main valve and the pressure reducer, if there is one.
- When a pump is needed, size it for the home and install it with a non-return valve.
- Measure the pressure before and after, so you can see the difference.
