Moving a single piece of furniture usually costs ILS 390 to 680. A heavy item that needs two movers costs ILS 210 to 330. These are average D-Bell catalog ranges.
What should I check first?
- The furniture dimensions, and that it fits through the door, stairs, and elevator.
- Whether it needs taking apart, such as sofa legs or wardrobe doors.
- Both addresses and the floor at each.
Say which floor the apartment is on, whether there is an elevator and its size, and whether the truck can park close to the entrance. These affect time and price the most.
How is it done properly?
- Measure the item and the openings on the way before lifting.
- Wrap it in a blanket to prevent scratches.
- Lift with at least two people, with straps when needed.
- Protect the walls and door frames in the stairwell.
- Secure it in the truck and set it where you chose.
